Role summary: We are looking for an inspirational leader to head the Account Management team for Italy, Spain and Portugal as part of the Continental Europe Leadership team. The role requires shaping and executing the Continental Europe IT/IB strategy while sharing customer insights and thought leadership to inform propositions and sales readiness.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide strategic and operational leadership to a team of Account Managers covering buy-side, sell-side and corporate clients to achieve sales, revenue, retention and organisational targets.
  • Ensure the team executes sales initiatives to hit critical financial metrics.
  • Drive detailed account, territory and opportunity planning using LSEG’s sales methodology.
  • Forecast sales and revenue to support the Market Head.
  • Deliver on organisational objectives aligned with LSEG strategy.
  • Develop and nurture senior-level customer relationships and represent the voice of the customer.
  • Influence functional strategy and, where relevant, help shape product/division direction.
  • Design sales strategies to grow market share and sustainable revenue.
  • Hold senior leadership responsibility for a portion of the Continental Europe market and contribute as a member of the Leadership Team.
  • Proactively identify and solve complex problems affecting business direction.
  • Act as an inclusive people leader: coach, mentor and develop the team and build a diverse talent pipeline.

Required experience and skills

  • Good understanding of the financial services industry.
  • Strong knowledge of local market dynamics and ability to tailor go-to-market strategies.
  • Experience with a data vendor and/or client-side environment.
  • Proven account relationship and people leadership experience with a track record of exceeding financial goals.
  • Experience managing remote and multicultural teams.
  • Innovative and strategic thinker with a structured, hands-on approach to running the business.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Mandatory fluency in Italian or Spanish.

Compensation

LSEG is committed to competitive compensation. The anticipated annual gross base salary for this position is €88,500 - €147,500. Base salary ranges may vary by location.
