The Role

We are seeking an IT Functional Analyst to join Kyndryl Italia Innovation Services and drive innovation and transformation for our customers. In this role you will engage directly with client contacts to understand functional needs, collect the information necessary to design applications, and translate requirements into usable functional analysis for developers and technical analysts. You will work with a good degree of autonomy and be proactive in proposing functional solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Interact with client stakeholders to gather and clarify functional requirements.
• Analyze requirements and produce functional specifications for development teams and technical analysts.
• Manage user requests and support the application lifecycle within projects.
• Proactively define functional solutions and rapidly learn the dynamics of application contexts.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience in Financial Services environments.
• Degree in STEM disciplines.
• Experience as an IT Functional Analyst in capturing functional requirements and translating them into functional analysis.
• Good knowledge of core banking processes such as current accounts, document management, mortgages, digital and biometric signatures, securities, derivatives, and anti-money laundering reporting.
• Proactive attitude, availability, and a fast learner in application contexts.
• Proficiency in Italian and English.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of PL/SQL.
• Familiarity with modeling languages and notations (e.g. UML, BPMN).
• Experience with requirements and analysis tools (e.g. Jira, Confluence, Trello).
• Knowledge of Agile methodology.

Requisiti

Minimum 1 year experience in Financial Services, STEM degree, experience as IT Functional Analyst, knowledge of core banking processes (current accounts, document management, mortgages, digital/biometric signatures, securities, derivatives, AML reporting), proactive, quick learner, fluent in Italian and English.
