The Mobile Team builds and evolves high-quality iOS and Android apps that deliver Translated’s products—such as Lara Translate and other localization tools—directly to users worldwide.

What you will do

  • Design, build and maintain production-grade mobile apps for iOS and Android.
  • Own features and projects from concept and design through release and ongoing maintenance.
  • Ensure app performance, reliability and scalability.
  • Collaborate with backend teams to define and integrate APIs and services.
  • Take part in code reviews, write tests and keep code quality high and maintainable.
  • Work closely with product, design and stakeholders to deliver user-centered solutions.
  • Monitor app performance and user feedback to iterate and improve the mobile experience.
  • Produce clear technical documentation for others to use.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of mobile development experience.
  • Strong proficiency in Swift (iOS) and/or Kotlin (Android).
  • Proven experience building and maintaining production mobile applications.
  • Good knowledge of mobile architecture patterns (MVC, MVVM, Clean Architecture).
  • Familiarity with RESTful APIs, asynchronous programming and version control (Git).
  • Experience with UI/UX mobile principles, performance optimization and debugging tools.
  • Experience using AI tools and integrating AI-powered features or leveraging AI in the development workflow.
  • Comfort owning problems end-to-end and a proactive approach to learning new technologies.
  • Excellent communication skills for explaining technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience with analytics, crash reporting and monitoring tools (e.g., Firebase) and app store deployment processes.

Nice to have

  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines for mobile development.
  • Experience with mobile testing frameworks (e.g., XCTest, Espresso).
  • Knowledge of accessibility standards and inclusive design.
  • Experience integrating AI/ML-powered features into mobile apps.

Requisiti
