Mission: Support and oversee the complete demand planning cycle to produce robust and dependable forecasts that reflect market demand and production constraints. The role is central to shifting Demand Planning from a reactive activity to a preventive, data-driven process, enhancing the quality of Production Demand Input and bolstering MPP reliability and execution performance.

Key responsibilities

  • Drive continuous improvement of the forecasting process, simplifying workflows from submission through allocation and identifying pain points and opportunities for transformation.
  • Increase forecast reliability and process robustness, improving alignment among demand, order intake and execution while reducing volatility and inconsistencies.
  • Define and implement performance KPIs to correctly measure forecast quality and coverage across legacy processes and different planning horizons.
  • Integrate production constraints up front (e.g., capacity, powertrain, supply limits) to ensure a realistic and executable demand plan and to minimize late adjustments and inefficiencies.
  • Use data and advanced analytics, including AI-based solutions, to anticipate risks, challenge inputs and support better decision making.
  • Contribute to the transition toward a preventive planning approach, enhancing visibility, accountability and cross-functional alignment.

Education and technical profile

  • Degree in Engineering or Economics. A Master’s in Supply Chain / Operations / Data Analytics is a plus.
  • Technical skills: strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel; ~1–2 years of experience in data analysis; interest in advanced analytics / AI applications for planning and forecasting; knowledge of Demand Planning and Supply Chain processes is appreciated; fluent English.

Offer

Salary range: from €34.000 to €38.000, to be defined based on the candidate's match with the role requirements. Employment is governed by the Specific Collective Labour Agreement (CCSL – CNEL code: CO10), with classification within the third professional area.
