Compensation: to be defined according to the candidate's level of experience.

We are seeking a Junior Software Engineer to join the Control Systems Department at our facility in Pavone del Mella (BS). The hired person will participate in the design and development of control software for industrial systems, working on defined projects and collaborating closely with the assigned Job Leader and the Control System Coordinator to deliver reliable technical solutions that satisfy safety requirements and company standards.

Main responsibilities

  • Develop industrial automation software (PLC, HMI, Safety, Motion) based on technical specifications and electrical schematics.
  • Prepare required technical documentation (functional analysis, organic analysis, contractual documentation).
  • Collaborate with the Job Leader to define software architecture, verify compliance with specifications and adhere to company software standards.
  • Prepare documentation for safety tests and complete project verification checklists.
  • Ensure project compliance with applicable regulations and risk assessments.
  • Interface with mechanical and fluidic designers and external suppliers to collect technical data.
  • Support commissioning activities and customer training when required, both at the company's facilities and on customer sites.
  • Collaborate with other departments on related activities (e.g., risk analysis, technical assistance).

Requirements

  • Technical skills: PLC programming, safety systems, HMI development, ability to read electrical schematics and manage technical documentation.
  • Familiarity with machine safety standards and regulations; knowledge of industrial presses is a plus.
  • Education: technical background specialized in automation, electronics or mechatronics.
  • Experience: about 1–2 years in automation software development (PLC/HMI).
  • Personal qualities: reliability, strong sense of responsibility, analytical and methodical approach, attention to quality, teamwork attitude and effective collaboration.
  • The search is aimed at candidates of both sexes (L.903/77 and L.125/91).

Requisiti

Technical degree in automation/electronics/mechatronics; 1–2 years experience in automation software development (PLC/HMI); knowledge of PLC, HMI, safety and motion control; ability to read electrical schematics; familiarity with machine safety regulations; CV must include consent to process personal data (EU Reg. 2016/679).
