You will work cross-functionally to drive product improvements, support development projects and own assigned product lines while delivering technical support to customers, sales teams and field technicians.

Portfolio management: You will assist with activities across the product life cycle — from ideation and development to introduction, maturity and obsolescence — and promote cross-functional initiatives to enhance revenue, margin, cost efficiency, quality and delivery.

Product launches, marketing and sales support: Lead the new product setup process including item creation, data validation and system proliferation. Support marketing tasks tied to product definition, development, pricing, market introduction, sales tools and promotional plans. Provide ongoing product guidance to supply, quality and production teams, act as subject-matter authority for assigned lines and ensure accurate product data and proper usage.

Market research and competitive intelligence: Provide market analysis and recommendations for current products, new technologies and emerging markets. Continually assess competitive offerings, communicate key findings to stakeholders and consult on product applications and upgrades to improve customer satisfaction.

Key requirements include a Bachelor’s degree (preferably in Mechanical, Thermal or Management Engineering), 2+ years in product marketing/management, and the ability to travel up to 15% domestically and internationally. You should demonstrate knowledge of industrial sales channels (distribution and manufacturer’s representatives), be proficient with Microsoft applications, ERPs and other technical software, and ideally have experience in industrial manufacturing with exposure to automation and/or automotive markets. Additional expectations include mechanical proficiency, understanding of product management processes, strong communication and presentation skills (including active listening), analytical ability to interpret data and financial models, and organizational skills to manage multiple priorities.

Pay transparency: Compensation is based on an expected base pay range and employee location, with pay determined by skills, experience, education and performance. This role is categorized as B1 or B2 depending on experience. Annual gross compensation range: EUR 40,000 – 48,000. Employees may be eligible for discretionary short- or long-term incentives. Remuneration is also subject to the applicable collective bargaining agreement at nVent.
