We are seeking a press brake operator who will report to the Production Manager and be in charge of the setup, programming, operation and control of CNC press brakes for sheet metal bending, ensuring adherence to quality, safety and productivity standards.

Main responsibilities:

• Set up, program and operate CNC press brakes, selecting tools, machine parameters and bending sequences in accordance with technical drawings and production specifications.
• Perform format changes, adjustments and bending tests, verifying dimensions, angles, radii and part conformity using the required measuring instruments.
• Verify compliance with product and process quality parameters following control plans and operating instructions, and act on any non-conformities.
• Monitor working parameters to ensure correct machine operation and continuity of production.
• Manage products, materials, tools and equipment within the work center in compliance with safety rules and prescribed procedures.
• Use company management and information systems correctly for activities assigned to the work center (knowledge of MES is a plus).
• Carry out autonomous first-level maintenance, cleaning, inspection and lubrication activities and support specialist maintenance of the press brakes.

Profile / Requirements:

• Technical diploma in mechanical, electrical, electronic, IT or mechatronics fields.
• At least 1 year of prior experience operating CNC press brakes or machine tools for sheet metal processing.
• Competence in first-level maintenance of automatic machines.
• Basic knowledge of mechanical drawings and the main measuring instruments.
• Proactivity, enthusiasm and willingness to work in a team; results-oriented attitude; problem-identification and problem-solving skills; flexibility and openness to change.
• Knowledge of factory management systems (MES) and English are considered a plus.

Requisiti
