The Engineering department counts a highly skilled team across Europe.

Role overview

We are looking for a detail-oriented Data Analyst II who can analyse business needs and design advanced analytical solutions. The role requires translating stakeholder requirements into technical specifications, implementing data flows on Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDWH) or Data Lake systems, and producing data marts and dashboards to surface KPIs and insights. Mastery of one or more SQL dialects and experience on EDWH systems are essential.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to capture functional needs and convert them into technical specifications and implementable use cases.
• Design and implement data flows on EDWHs or Data Lakes, identifying and integrating required data sources.
• Prepare and clean data to ensure reliability for analytical use.
• Apply data quality techniques and controls to guarantee data integrity.
• Develop data models and data marts tailored to the identified use cases to enable analysis and KPI computation.
• Work together with dashboarding and visualization experts to deliver clear, effective dashboards and reports.

Requirements

• Knowledge of the Italian language is required.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Statistics, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 2 years of experience in transformation, data modelling and analysis on EDWH systems (experience with Azure Synapse or Teradata appreciated).
• Experience with Databricks or Snowflake is a plus.
• Strong SQL skills (one or more dialects) and solid understanding of data modelling and visualization principles; Power BI is a plus.
• Good knowledge of Python.
• Familiarity with business processes in at least one of these domains: insurance, telco, banking, or utilities.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills to map business needs to data models and KPIs and to keep stakeholders aligned during all project phases.

Additional information

Salary (RAL): €36,000 - €48,500.

Work mode: Fully remote. Only candidates based in European time zones (CEST or similar) will be considered.

Requisiti

Knowledge of Italian; Bachelor's/Master's in relevant field; 2+ years experience on EDWH (Azure Synapse/Teradata preferred); SQL and Python proficiency; experience with Databricks/Snowflake and Power BI is a plus; knowledge of insurance/telco/banking/utility processes; able to communicate effectively with stakeholders.
