We are seeking an experienced Human Resources Generalist to support day-to-day HR operations across multiple facilities. This is a direct-hire position that pays $65,000–$70,000 per year. The schedule is Monday–Friday, 8-hour days.
This high-visibility HR role will have you acting as a trusted partner to leadership, driving recruiting efforts and supporting employee relations within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The posting references consideration for candidates in Milo, ME.
Typical responsibilities
- Serve as the primary HR partner for assigned business units, handling employee relations, investigations, performance management and disciplinary processes.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state and local employment laws, maintain accurate HR records and support audits.
- Partner with hiring managers on recruiting activities including screening, interviewing, onboarding and workforce planning.
- Coordinate and deliver onboarding, compliance and leadership training and support employee development initiatives.
- Support workplace safety through training, incident investigations and OSHA compliance initiatives.
- Administer benefits and leave programs (including FMLA/ADA), perform HRIS updates (ADP Workforce Now) and assist with payroll coordination.
Qualifications and skills
- Associate’s Degree preferred; experience in a manufacturing environment is strongly desired.
- Proven recruiting experience with hands-on hiring support.
- Knowledge of employee relations, compliance, benefits administration and HRIS systems (ADP Workforce Now).
- Ability to partner with leadership and work collaboratively across multiple locations.

Requisiti
Associate’s Degree preferred; experience in a manufacturing environment strongly desired. Strong recruiting background with hands-on hiring support experience.
