Who we are

Founded in 2007 by childhood friends, Experimental has reshaped hospitality and food & beverage by delivering contemporary experiences to an international clientele. The group expanded from cocktail bars to wine bars, restaurants and boutique hotels across major European cities and seasonal destinations.

Palazzo Experimental

Palazzo Experimental features 32 rooms and suites designed by Dorothée Meilichzon and a large inner garden overlooking a quiet canal. The property has three entrances on the Canal Della Giudecca leading respectively to the restaurant L’Adriatica, the reception, and the Experimental Cocktail Club.

The role

  • Available immediately until the end of November.

  • 40 hours per week with two days off.

  • Accommodation not provided.

Daily responsibilities include:

  • Preparing the dining room, garden and terrace before service.

  • Ensuring guests enjoy a positive experience throughout their visit.

  • Advising guests based on an excellent knowledge of the menu and products.

  • Delivering service according to company standards: taking orders, laying and clearing tables, and re-setting.

  • Managing your section (refilling bread and drinks, maintaining tidy and clean tables to ensure guest satisfaction).

  • Completing end-of-service chores to prepare for the next service.

  • Keeping all areas in perfect condition (cleanliness, maintenance and functionality) and respecting the aesthetic standards set by management (grooming, mise en place).

Who you are

We seek candidates with solid knowledge of restaurant service and experience in hospitality. A good command of English is required; additional languages are a plus. The ideal person is proactive, autonomous, adaptable, highly organised, able to prioritise, and delivers excellent customer service.

Requisiti

Solid knowledge of restaurant service and experience in the hospitality industry; good command of English (other languages a plus); proactive, autonomous, adaptable, highly organised and strong customer service skills.
