Position summary: Prepare and portion ingredients for cooking, including chopping, weighing, measuring and storing food items. Clean, peel and prepare fresh fruits and vegetables and mix ingredients as required to recipes and presentation standards.
Health, safety and conduct: Comply with all company safety and security policies and procedures; report maintenance needs, accidents, injuries and unsafe conditions to the manager; complete required safety training and certifications. Maintain a clean, professional uniform and personal appearance, protect company assets and confidentiality, and use clear, professional communication with others.
Teamwork and expectations: Build and maintain positive working relationships with colleagues, support the team to reach common goals and respond appropriately to coworkers' concerns. Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards and perform other reasonable duties as requested by supervisors.
Physical requirements: Ability to stand, sit or walk for extended periods or an entire shift; reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling and stooping. Move, lift, carry, push, pull and place objects weighing up to 25 pounds without assistance.
