Role summary: A Commis de Rang ensures an outstanding Guest experience by preparing food and beverages for service and offering appropriate recommendations when requested.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Delivering a memorable dining experience for Guests and maintaining a professional presence during service.
  • Providing prompt, discreet and attentive service and following instructions from chefs and senior waiters while anticipating their needs.
  • Keeping your station clean and organised at all times, issuing additional cutlery, glassware, bread and butter as needed, and running trays between server and station.
  • Responding quickly to any spillages or breakages and communicating any issues to the station waiter or Restaurant Manager.
  • Cleaning stations and remaining aware of waiter and restaurant needs throughout service.

Requisiti

Good knowledge of Italian and English; motivated, customer-focused, flexible team player willing to take instruction from chefs and senior waiters and maintain high standards during service.
