Role overview
As a Product Manager at Quicke you will be responsible for driving the commercial success of loaders and backhoes across their full product life cycle. You will act as the product champion internally and with customers and other stakeholders, bringing R&D, Sales & Marketing and other teams together to work with purpose and urgency. Your remit includes initiating new concepts, defining product requirements that steer development projects, launching new products, shaping and executing overall product strategy, generating revenue via the sales organization and phasing out obsolete items.
Key responsibilities
- Develop deep market expertise in the competitive landscape and customer needs to guide strategic direction and product positioning supporting sustainable growth.
- Create and execute product launch plans in close collaboration with Sales & Marketing.
- Define product positioning and value propositions and prepare value‑based sales arguments together with Sales & Marketing to increase market impact.
- Monitor performance of new products and evaluate initiatives to ensure continuous improvement.
- Contribute to new product development and related strategic projects.
- Represent market needs and work closely with the sales organization and customers to improve product offerings, follow‑up activities, sales and profitability.
- Support sales‑related strategic tasks such as campaign development and customer recommendations.
- Ensure strong cross‑functional coordination between OEM customers, R&D, purchasing, production sites and sales teams.
Required qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant scientific field or equivalent experience.
- 2–4 years of experience in product management.
- Prior experience and solid understanding of the agriculture and farming industry.
- Strong knowledge of marketing principles, product lifecycle management, product positioning and financial analysis.
- Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills, with the ability to adapt materials to different audiences.
- Strong organisational skills, flexibility and the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Proficiency with ERP systems and strong Excel skills.
- Fluency in English.
- Willingness and ability to travel domestically and internationally.
Requisiti
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience; 2–4 years in product management; experience in agriculture/farming industry; knowledge of marketing, product lifecycle, positioning and financial analysis; excellent communication and presentation skills; strong organisational abilities; proficiency with ERP and Excel; fluent English; willingness to travel domestically and internationally.
