Responsibilities
The Security Analyst is responsible for continuously monitoring and reviewing security systems and logs to detect potential threats. They must respond to and investigate security incidents and breaches, documenting events and producing detailed reports. The role includes developing and implementing security policies and procedures as well as recommending improvements to strengthen the organisation's security posture.
The analyst will also perform vulnerability assessments and penetration testing, and collaborate with IT and other departments on security-related projects. They are expected to keep their knowledge current on emerging cybersecurity threats and tools.

- Comply with the company's Code of Conduct and Discipline.
- Report immediately any fraudulent, suspicious or unlawful activities/transactions to the immediate head to mitigate risks.
- Carry out other tasks as assigned.
Relationships
Reports to: Secure Client Solutions and Assurance Team Lead. Coordinates with: all employees as needed.
Job specifications
Required: a Bachelor's/College degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent with experience in CyberSecurity.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity or information security roles.
- Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, or CompTIA Security+ are preferred.
- Strong understanding of security protocols, SIEM platforms and firewall management.
- Proven experience in incident response and threat analysis.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple incidents concurrently.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills; detail-oriented with strong analytical thinking.
Working conditions
The position may require rotating shifts including nights, weekends and holidays to ensure 24/7 security operations coverage. Occasional travel may be required for conferences, training sessions or to support incident response at remote sites.
