About Experimental Roma

Opening in mid-2026 on Via Ludovisi, just off the famous Via Veneto, Experimental Roma will be a lively and cinematic new addition to the brand. The hotel, converted from a former bank and redesigned by Rodolphe Parente, will capture the spirit of la dolce vita: elegant, timeless and distinctly Italian. The property will include 82 rooms, a restaurant, a bar and a rooftop with a suspended pool offering spectacular views over Rome. Role Overview

We are seeking a Housekeeping Supervisor to maintain high service standards and ensure guest satisfaction throughout the hotel. You will lead the housekeeping team, guaranteeing that guest rooms and public areas are kept in impeccable condition.

Key Responsibilities

Team Management and Supervision

  • Train and supervise the housekeeping staff responsible for guest rooms and public spaces.
  • Plan and organise work schedules to secure appropriate coverage for all housekeeping needs.
  • Oversee daily team activities to uphold cleanliness and hygiene standards.
  • Carry out performance reviews and offer constructive feedback to support team development.
  • Encourage a positive, motivating workplace culture.

Quality Assurance

  • Inspect guest rooms and public areas regularly to ensure they meet hotel standards.
  • Handle special guest requests and resolve housekeeping-related complaints promptly and effectively.
  • Implement and maintain rigorous cleaning procedures to guarantee hygiene.
  • Ensure that rooms are fully prepared and ready for guest arrivals.

Inventory and Supplies Management

  • Manage stocks of cleaning products and housekeeping supplies.
  • Place orders for necessary items while respecting the allocated budget.

Coordination with Other Departments

  • Work closely with Front Office to maintain clear communication about room status.
  • Coordinate with Maintenance to report and follow up on repair jobs.

Safety and Compliance

  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations related to cleaning chemicals and equipment.
  • Train staff on safety procedures and monitor correct application.
  • Keep accurate records of cleaning activities and safety checks.

Candidate Profile

You are passionate about hospitality and have initial experience in a similar role within a 4- or 5-star hotel, including people management and staff development. You are dynamic, proactive and service-oriented, with a polished professional appearance and constant attention to guests' needs. You demonstrate rigour, strong organisational abilities, attention to detail and excellent interpersonal skills.

Requisiti

Initial experience in a similar role within a 4- or 5-star hotel, including team management and staff development. Professional appearance, proactive attitude, strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail.
