Our client is a solid international financial group and is looking to strengthen its Credit Risk function by hiring a Senior Credit Risk Analyst. The role will report directly to the Credit Risk Officer and will be focused on evaluating credit requests linked to leasing and loan operations from customers, dealers and vendors.
Responsibilities
- Perform credit evaluations and risk analyses by verifying the reliability of information, analysing and spreading financial statements and economic data, assessing customers' creditworthiness and their ability to repay loans, calculating obligor ratings, and evaluating the transaction structure, assets and any guarantees or guarantors.
- Prepare detailed credit reports in English with recommendations based on the credit risk analysis to be submitted to the relevant decision-making bodies.
- Collaborate with operations and business line teams as well as dealers/vendors in an international context.
- Contribute to the development of credit policies and local credit risk management rules.
- Work with the collections department to monitor delinquent customers.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Economics, Finance or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience as a credit risk analyst in the leasing or banking industry, or in a similar role, with proven ability to independently read and analyse corporate financial statements and assess associated risks.
- Good written and spoken English is mandatory.
- Knowledge of key credit risk management systems and processes.
- Good knowledge of MS Excel.
- Ability to multitask and prioritise workload appropriately, adherence to processes, strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Proactive and dynamic attitude with the ability to build positive relationships within the team.
