About the role

As a Front Desk Supervisor you will lead and coordinate front office activities to ensure excellent first impressions for Guests. You will act as the link between Guests, the hotel and other departments, ensuring all front desk operations run smoothly and to Hilton standards.

Key responsibilities

  • Supervise Front Desk operations for your assigned shift, maintaining consistently high standards.
  • Ensure team members are informed about hotel products, services, pricing, promotions, daily VIPs and special events.
  • Inform and advise your shift team of any VIP Guests or special events taking place during the day.
  • Monitor and coach Team Members on appearance, standards and performance with an emphasis on training and teamwork.
  • Drive sales by maximizing revenues through upselling and participation in marketing programmes.
  • Promptly and fully manage Guest requests, inquiries and complaints.
  • Maintain a professional front desk presentation focused on hospitality and Guest service.

Candidate profile

  • Relevant Front Office experience in hotel, leisure or retail sectors.
  • Strong commercial awareness with proven sales ability.
  • Calm, organised approach with the ability to prioritise and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent supervisory, interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Passion for delivering outstanding Guest service.
  • Good command of Italian and English.
  • Desirable: a supervisory/management certificate, diploma or degree.

About Hilton Milan

Hilton Milan is situated close to Central Station, within easy reach of the city centre and Milan’s major airports. The hotel comprises 319 rooms, including Hilton Guestrooms, Executive Rooms and Suites. Executive Rooms provide additional services such as private check-in/out and access to the Executive Lounge offering complimentary breakfast, snacks and drinks. The hotel features a meetings area with 10 rooms (capacity 6–180) equipped with modern technology and internet/video-conference facilities. Requisiti

Previous front office experience in hotel/leisure/retail; strong commercial awareness and sales skills; excellent supervisory, interpersonal and communication skills; fluent Italian and good English. Ideally holds a supervisory/management certificate, diploma or degree.
