The HR Partner role within the Builder Experience Team (BeXT) is a 12-month fixed-term contract dedicated to enhancing the Builder experience.

Role overview

As a BeXT HR Partner you will work with AWS business leaders and HR teams to design and deliver people strategies spanning talent and performance management, compensation, employee relations and other HR functions. You will provide hands-on support to Builders and their leaders aligned to a business line or region, combining HR expertise, consulting skills and empathy while navigating a fast-changing, innovative environment.

Key responsibilities

  • Consult, coach and advise leaders to guide people decisions with empathy and sound judgment across talent, performance, compensation and employee relations processes.
  • Promote inclusion and role-model inclusive behaviours for all Builders.
  • Advocate for Builder needs and support end-to-end experiences that help employees feel engaged and valued.
  • Manage escalations and exercise high judgment while operating in ambiguity as a first point of escalation for Builder concerns.
  • Handle sensitive queries and apply Amazon policies with discretion and expertise.
  • Encourage adoption of HR technology and self-service to streamline people processes.
  • Collaborate and influence across multiple organizational levels, from Builders to senior leaders.
  • Conduct complex workplace investigations in partnership with Builder Relations when required.

Basic qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Human Resources, Labor Relations, Business/Management, Psychology, or a related field.
  • Proven HR generalist experience with practical application of HR fundamentals.

Preferred qualifications

  • Experience working in a matrixed organization.
  • Strong coaching and consulting skills, with the ability to influence leaders.
  • Solid business and HR acumen including problem-solving, critical thinking and analysis.
  • Experience handling complex performance management cases and employee relations/investigations.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, conviction and tenacity.
  • Ability to thrive under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and demonstrate curiosity and insight.
  • High judgment, empathy, autonomy, flexibility and strict confidentiality in HR matters.
  • Experience with Work Councils or other employee representative bodies (ERB) is a plus.

Requisiti

Bachelor’s degree in HR, Labor Relations, Business/Management, Psychology or related field; strong HR generalist experience. Preferred: experience in matrix organizations, coaching and consulting skills, business and HR acumen, employee relations/investigations experience, ability to maintain confidentiality, and Work Council/ERB experience.
