We are seeking a motivated Front Office Agent to join the hotel's pre-opening team and report to the Front Office Manager. The property is the Hyatt Regency Rome Central, a contemporary 5-star hotel with 238 rooms, conveniently located adjacent to Rome Termini Station and a short distance from the Colosseum. The hotel offers premium business services, one of Italy’s most impressive rooftop leisure experiences, a SPA, 5 food & beverage outlets and more than 1,000 sqm of event space.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Welcome guests and carry out the check-in process professionally and manage the check-out of departing guests.
  • Perform Front Office operations in accordance with company policies, standards and procedures, maintaining consistently high service levels.
  • Make guests feel at home and anticipate their needs, offering tailored recommendations.
  • Communicate relevant guest activities to the appropriate team members and ensure guest communications and requests are handled promptly and correctly.
  • Complete End of Day procedures and all relevant day-closure accounting checks.
  • Assign rooms according to guest profiles (VIPs, repeat guests, World of Hyatt members, special requirements, etc.).
  • Support Front Office Leaders with guest or departmental requests, inquiries, complaints and suggestions as required.
  • Provide consistent cover for the Night Manager’s days off.

Skills and requirements:

  • Preferred experience in similar roles within lifestyle or upscale hotels.
  • Solid knowledge of hotel operations, front desk procedures and night audit processes.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Hotel Management/Business Administration plus 3 years of Front Office/Guest Service experience.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Fluent in English and Italian; additional languages are a plus.
  • Familiarity with Opera Cloud is highly desirable.
  • Flexibility to work night shifts, weekends and public holidays.

Requisiti

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Hotel Management/Business Administration plus 3 years of Front Office/Guest Service experience; fluent in English and Italian; familiarity with Opera Cloud preferred; availability to work night shifts, weekends and public holidays; ability to cover Night Manager days off.
