We are looking for a Data Analyst with strong hands-on experience in Power BI and a solid foundation in UI/UX design principles. The ideal candidate blends analytical precision with a user-centered approach to turn complex data into clear, visually engaging dashboards and insights that support data-driven decisions across the organization. This role works closely with business stakeholders, product owners and technical teams to deliver solutions that are both accurate and easy to use.
Key responsibilities:
- Work with Data Engineers to validate data accuracy, consistency and integrity across multiple sources.
- Support ad-hoc analyses and strategic decision-making initiatives.
- Design, develop and maintain interactive Power BI reports and dashboards, building efficient data models.
- Apply UI/UX principles to create intuitive, user-friendly visualizations and layouts that enhance data storytelling and usability.
- Ensure consistency with visual standards, branding and design systems, balancing visual appeal with analytical clarity and performance.
- Collaborate with data engineers, developers and designers on end-to-end data products; document dashboards, data models and metrics for transparency and reuse.
- Provide training or guidance to end users on dashboard usage and interpretation.
Required skills and experience:
- At least 4–5 years as a Data Analyst or in equivalent roles within structured organisations.
- Strong hands-on experience with Power BI, including DAX, Power Query and data modeling concepts.
- Working knowledge of UI/UX principles applied to data visualization and the ability to communicate complex insights to non-technical audiences.
- Experience with design tools such as Figma, Adobe XD or Sketch.
- Familiarity with data visualization best practices and storytelling with data.
- Understanding of ETL processes and data pipelines; exposure to Agile or product-driven development environments.
