We value high quality, accountability and sustainable work–life balance.
Python backend, FastAPI for APIs, C++ for performance-critical parts (exploring Rust).
DynamoDB and S3 for storage.
AWS serverless services (Fargate, Lambda) and infrastructure-as-code with Terraform; moving toward Kubernetes and more cloud-agnostic solutions.
Collaboration tools: GitHub, Jira, Slack, Confluence.
Company equipment: We provide a MacBook Pro (M5 Pro).
7+ years of experience, with extensive experience in software architecture and senior engineering roles.
Track record of shipping products in a start-up environment, enabling fast iteration while keeping the platform reliable and secure.
Strong judgement balancing scalability, maintainability and speed; ability to improve technical workflows and team practices.

Experience with on-premise or hybrid deployments and orchestrating services with Kubernetes.
Fluent English (spoken and written) is mandatory.
Enable on-premises deployment of space algorithms using Kubernetes.
Continuously improve the developer experience for software and space engineers.
Collaborate to expose algorithms as services and take prototypes to production deployments.
Enhance system observability and work on both long-term initiatives and short-term tasks (PR reviews, design docs, business-driven implementations, bug fixes, reducing tech debt).
Flexible remote work: work from anywhere in Italy, with the option to use our historic office in Turin.
Flexible hours with core hours 10:00–12:00 and 14:00–16:00.
Unlimited paid days off (mandatory paid leave of 22 days/year accrues per the National Collective Labour Agreement (CCNL), plus the option for additional unpaid days).
Health insurance.
Stock options and performance reviews tied to career progression and equity opportunities.
€1,000/year (net) in flexible benefits provided via a dedicated benefits card.
One or two company retreats per year.
The role is open to all genders and backgrounds in compliance with non-discrimination principles.
