Position summary: We are seeking a Maintenance Technician to join a five‑member team. The role involves ensuring the facility’s systems, equipment and common areas operate efficiently through routine and special maintenance, contributing to a positive guest experience.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out routine and preventive maintenance on electrical, plumbing, heating and mechanical systems.
• Quickly repair faults and malfunctions reported by guests or staff.
• Perform periodic inspections of boilers, HVAC systems, lighting, elevators and other technical/electrical infrastructures.
• Support setups and perform minor carpentry, painting and masonry tasks when needed.
• Keep technical areas, tool storage and material stocks organized and monitored.
• Work with suppliers and external contractors for specialized interventions and tests.
• Prepare maintenance reports and highlight needs for replacements or investments.
• Ensure compliance with safety, fire prevention and hygiene regulations and with CEI standards.
• Respond promptly to technical emergencies and keep the maintenance log updated.

Preferred qualifications

• Technical diploma in electrical engineering, electronics or equivalent.
• Knowledge of residential and industrial electrical systems, ability to read electrical schematics and use diagnostic software.
• Possession of PES/PAV/PEI (CEI 11‑27) certification is highly preferred.
• At least intermediate proficiency in English.
• Previous experience in the hospitality industry is a plus.

Soft skills

• Attention to detail and safety-oriented approach.
• Good interpersonal skills and ability to cooperate with other hotel departments.
• Willingness to work shifts and cover weekends.

Supervisory experience: none required.
