Position summary
We are looking for a Maintenance Technician to join a team of five people. The role is responsible for routine and special maintenance of the hotel to ensure proper operation of systems, equipment and common areas, contributing to a positive experience for guests.
Key responsibilities
- Carry out routine and preventive maintenance on electrical, plumbing, heating and mechanical systems.
- Perform quick repairs for faults or malfunctions reported by guests or staff.
- Conduct periodic inspections of boilers, HVAC systems, lighting, elevators and other technical and electrical infrastructure.
- Assist with set-up tasks and minor carpentry, painting and masonry works.
- Keep technical areas, the tool room and material stocks orderly and monitored.
- Work together with suppliers and external contractors for specialist jobs.
- Prepare maintenance reports and flag needs for replacements or investments.
- Ensure compliance with safety, fire prevention and hygiene regulations.
- Respond promptly to technical emergencies.
- Verify and maintain compliance with CEI regulations and applicable safety standards.
- Maintain the maintenance log and report requirements for replacements or technological upgrades.
- Collaborate with external companies during testing, certification and specialized maintenance operations.
Preferred qualifications
Education and technical skills
- Technical diploma in electrical engineering, electronics or equivalent.
- Knowledge of residential and industrial electrical systems, ability to read electrical schematics and use diagnostic software.
- Intermediate level of English.
- Possession of PES/PAV/PEI (CEI 11-27) certification is highly desirable.
- Previous experience in the hospitality sector is an advantage.
Soft skills
- Accuracy and strong attention to safety.
- Good interpersonal skills and ability to cooperate with other hotel departments.
- Willingness to work shifts and cover weekends.
Supervisory experience
No supervisory responsibilities are required for this position.

Requisiti
Technical diploma in electrical engineering/electronics or equivalent; intermediate English; PES/PAV/PEI (CEI 11-27) certification highly preferred; prior hotel experience is a plus; willingness to work shifts and weekends; ability to respond to technical emergencies. Language requirement: Italian.
