Job Title: Accounting Intern
Department: Accounting
Reports to: Assistant of DoF, Director of Finance (DoF), Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable teams
Job overview
The Accounting Intern will assist the accounting team with daily financial controls and routine accounting operations. Main responsibilities include:
- Verify receipts from the different hotel outlets
- Reconcile transactions recorded in the payment systems
- Inspect invoices, receipts and credit notes for accuracy
- Manage outgoing invoices and issue invoices requested by Food & Beverage, Spa and Guest Services
- Prepare wire transfers to suppliers
- Check laundry lists and related charges
- Verify Food & Beverage transfers processed through Materials Control
- Archive supplier invoices, customer invoices and F&B receipts
- Run city ledger reports and ensure appropriate backup documentation is present
- Perform parking charge verifications
Qualifications
- Required: Degree or diploma
- Desirable: Specialization courses or a Master; knowledge of the English language
