Position summary

The trainee will join the Front Office team and be trained to carry out key reception duties. Responsibilities include:

  • Welcoming and assisting guests on arrival and during their stay
  • Supporting room assignments and handling check-in/check-out procedures
  • Managing reservations and related documentation
  • Providing information and assistance to guests
  • Answering and managing telephone enquiries
  • Helping to process guest requests and resolving complaints
  • Carrying out basic administrative tasks and record keeping
  • Communicating with other hotel departments to fulfil guest needs

Requirements

  • Good communication skills
  • A customer-focused attitude
  • Basic knowledge of English (additional languages are a plus)
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
