Role: Data Analyst — fully remote, full-time. Compensation: competitive and commensurate with experience; indicative range $70,000 – $110,000 (USD equivalent), plus benefits.
Role overview
We are seeking a Data Analyst to convert raw datasets into actionable insights that inform business choices. The position works closely with operations, product and marketing to build dashboards, perform analyses and proactively surface questions and opportunities the business may not have anticipated.
Key responsibilities
- Build and maintain dashboards using tools such as Looker, Tableau or Power BI.
- Perform ad‑hoc analyses to answer business questions and uncover trends.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional stakeholders to define metrics and reporting requirements.
- Write clean, performant SQL queries against the data warehouse.
- Translate complex analytical results into clear narratives for non‑technical audiences.
- Detect data quality issues and coordinate with engineering to resolve them.
Required skills and qualifications
- 2+ years experience in a data analyst or business analyst role.
- Strong SQL skills and hands‑on experience with data warehouses (e.g., Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift).
- Proficiency with at least one BI tool (Looker, Tableau, Power BI).
- Working knowledge of Python or R for data analysis is a plus.
- Strong analytical thinking and ability to turn data into concrete recommendations.
- Excellent written communication and presentation skills.
