Since introducing cocktail bar culture to Paris in 2007, Experimental has reshaped hospitality by creating distinctive cocktail bars and boutique hotels across Europe and beyond. The group’s venues span major capitals and seasonal destinations — from Rome, Paris and London to Comporta, Ibiza and Menorca in summer, and ski resorts like Verbier and Val d’Isère in winter — as well as locations such as Porto, Venice, New York, Biarritz and the Cotswolds. Each destination combines design, creativity and attentive service, with further openings planned.

About Experimental Roma

Experimental Roma, opening in mid-2026 on Via Ludovisi near the iconic Via Veneto, will be a lively, cinematic new project. Housed in a former bank and redesigned by Rodolphe Parente, the hotel will embody la dolce vita: elegant, timeless and unmistakably Italian. The venue will include 82 rooms, a restaurant, a bar and a striking rooftop with a suspended pool and sweeping views over Rome.

About the role

Reporting to and supported by the Bar Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring excellent bar operations and guest satisfaction. Your main duties will include:

• Advising, developing and retaining clientele through daily service and by helping organise special events;

• Ensuring guest satisfaction at all times;

• Coordinating teams to guarantee smooth service flow;

• Participating in onboarding and staff training to maintain high service standards;

• Maintaining hygiene and safety standards, keeping equipment in good condition and overseeing general bar upkeep;

• Assisting the Bar Manager with menu development and seasonal updates;

• Supporting supply and stock management following established procedures;

• Using necessary management tools for efficient daily operations;

• Acting as the Bar Manager’s deputy during their absence.

About you

You have demonstrable experience working in a cocktail bar and are energetic, motivated and at ease supporting and training teams. Your organisational skills and autonomy enable you to quickly learn the group’s procedures and tools. You communicate easily and professionally with colleagues and guests in both Italian and English, and your strong interpersonal skills help create a warm and engaging bar atmosphere.

Requisiti

Proven experience in a cocktail bar; ability to support and train teams; strong organisational skills and autonomy; professional communication in Italian and English.
