Scope of the role

As a Customer Engagement Analyst you will combine data, tools and processes to help the field sales team be more effective and efficient. Your analyses will directly influence the performance and growth of Consumer Healthcare (CHC) brands in pharmacy and retail. You will operate in a context that values modern sales structures, data-driven decisions and continuous development, keeping close contact with the BU Lead, Sales and Marketing.

Main responsibilities

  • Analyze key field sales KPIs such as visit frequency, coverage, sell‑in, sell‑out, strike rate and conversion rates.
  • Develop data-driven recommendations to drive sales and marketing activities.
  • Design incentive models and assess goal achievement.
  • Plan field sales activities and allocate resources.
  • Support the development of a modern field sales setup and optimize territory structures, routes and customer target groups.
  • Define targeting and segmentation strategies for pharmacies, physicians and retail customers.
  • Conduct market and competitive analyses using regional sales data and pharmacy panels; evaluate campaign and promotion effectiveness.
  • Contribute to CRM and system management: refine the CRM, specify requirements for field sales management, monitor data quality and promote CRM adoption.
  • Develop clear guidelines and training concepts for the sales team together with Training Management.
  • Drive operational excellence by establishing modern data and reporting structures and creating intuitive dashboards and KPI frameworks for stakeholders.
  • Introduce new tools and best practices to increase field force efficiency and consult on strategic and operational decisions collaborating with Sales, Marketing, Finance, Supply Chain and Business Intelligence.

Who we are looking for

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, business informatics, data analytics or any scientific/technical degree.
  • Proficiency in data analytics and reporting tools (for example Excel, Power BI, Tableau).
  • Previous experience in field force sales operations, commercial excellence or sales analytics in the pharmaceutical or consumer healthcare sector is preferred; working student experience is considered relevant.
  • Direct sales experience is a plus.
  • Knowledge of data engineering (e.g., SQL) and familiarity with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, 1Tool) are a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to present complex analyses clearly.
  • A structured, solution-oriented work approach and interest in building and continuously developing the organization.
  • Excellent written and spoken German and English.

Requisiti

Laurea triennale in economia, informatica aziendale, data analytics o titolo tecnico/scientifico equivalente; conoscenza di Excel, Power BI o Tableau; esperienza preferibile in sales operations/commercial excellence o sales analytics nel settore farmaceutico/consumer healthcare (anche esperienza da working student rilevante); conoscenza di SQL e CRM (Salesforce, 1Tool) considerata un plus; ottime capacità comunicative e di presentazione; approccio strutturato e orientato alle soluzioni; ottimo tedesco e inglese scritto e parlato.
