Casa Brera, a Luxury Collection Hotel in Milan, part of Marriott International, is seeking a Guest Arrival Expert / Bellboy to perform both doorman and bellman duties. This is a full-time role working 5 days a week with 2 days off. The expected start date is estimated in August.

Casa Brera, located in the heart of Brera and reimagined by Studio Urquiola, offers 116 refined rooms including 15 suites and the Milanese Suite. Hidden behind a rationalist façade, the hotel blends international sophistication with authentic Milanese elegance. The property hosts several culinary venues such as Odachi (Japanese cuisine), Scena by Michelin-star Chef Andrea Berton, The Living for aperitivo and light bites, and a rooftop skybar with a pool and lounge areas.

The Guest Arrival Expert is responsible for shaping first and last impressions: welcoming guests on arrival and bidding them farewell on departure. Team members are expected to act proactively to ensure arrivals and departures are smooth and memorable, while following company policies, maintaining confidentiality, and preserving company assets. Professional appearance and communication are essential.

Key responsibilities

• Provide an authentic and refined welcome and farewell to all arriving and departing guests.
• Handle luggage: load/unload, store, and deliver to rooms or designated areas; escort guests to rooms and explain facilities when required.
• Assist guests entering and exiting vehicles and open vehicle doors.
• Give directions and information about hotel amenities, operating hours, and local points of interest.
• Arrange transportation (taxis, shuttles, limousines) and record advance requests as needed.
• Communicate parking procedures, monitor the driveway flow of vehicles and pedestrians, inspect arriving cars and note any damages on the parking ticket.
• Provide and perform a 5-star shoe shine service.
• Keep the hotel entrance spotless and tidy at all times.
• Seek opportunities to surprise and delight guests whenever possible.

Profile and requirements

• A warm, guest-focused attitude and a team-first approach.
• Positive, outgoing personality with strong interpersonal skills.
• Flexibility, problem-solving skills and the ability to multitask under pressure.
• Excellent English and at least intermediate Italian (spoken and written).
• Previous bellman or doorman experience is a strong advantage.
• Ability to use CRM systems and other hotel software.
