Responsibilities
- Own SOX compliance: lead end-to-end implementation of Sarbanes-Oxley controls across business processes and IT systems.
- Lead internal control evaluations: test and assess controls across the organisation, identify gaps and risks, and drive remediation to completion.
- Drive the annual internal audit plan: design and own audit programs across financial, operational, technology and compliance domains and present findings and remediation proposals to senior management and the audit committee.
- Shape the internal audit function: build the function from the ground up, defining methodology, governance and tooling and continuously improving them.
- Manage stakeholder relationships: work closely with external auditors, senior leaders and the audit committee; translate findings into clear communications and monitor remediation progress.
Requirements and profile
- Analytical reasoning: solve complex problems from first principles, structure ideas clearly and focus on the details that matter.
- Drive and ownership: very ambitious, proactive, tenacious and accountable for results.
- Proficiency in English: strong reading, writing and speaking skills in English.

For candidates assessed as having considerable relevant experience, the salary ranges mentioned by the company are: $204,281–$411,014 (US), £151,436–£250,512 (London), and €107,837–€240,330 (other European locations). Compensation depends on location and impact and may exceed these ranges for exceptional candidates.
