Role overview

You will be responsible for delivering high-quality service support to customers by leading the daily activities of a team of field technicians and ensuring excellent customer experience.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure best-in-class customer support including service level delivery, preventive maintenance, product solutions, relationships with customers and sales organizations, laboratory services and parts inventory management through effective resource planning and field administration.
• Lead field service technicians across North East Italy to guarantee an excellent customer experience.
• Develop a deep understanding of customers, their processes and the instruments used to meet their business objectives.
• Set objectives for technicians, conduct regular reviews, coach staff and ensure appropriate training and development.
• Promote talent development and actively support career growth within the team.
• Maintain ongoing communication with the Service leader and peers to manage resource availability and constraints.
• Collaborate with your manager and other service delivery leaders to deploy resources in line with customer commitments.
• Monitor field work schedules and vacation planning, ensuring compliance with internal processes.
• Report on competitors and market trends relevant to the service business growth strategy.
• Drive KPI performance and lead the team towards operational excellence.

Required qualifications and skills

• Minimum 6 years of successful field service experience in HVAC systems (repairs and on-site maintenance).
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in engineering.
• Proven experience in a supervisory or team leader role with team building abilities.
• Strong interpersonal, team, strategic thinking and analytical skills.
• Assertive, results-oriented personality with a hands-on, can-do attitude and ability to meet tight deadlines.
• Fluent Italian and very good English skills for reading, writing and presentations.
• Sales acumen and practical mindset.
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word and Notes.

Location and application

Location: Cinisello Balsamo (candidate will lead technicians across North East Italy).

Benefits

• The initial basic salary for this role is in the range of €45.000 – €61.800 per year; the final package will depend on experience, skills and qualifications and may include variable components and additional company benefits discussed during the selection process.

Requisiti

Minimum 6 years of field service experience in HVAC systems (repairs and on-site maintenance); Bachelor's degree or equivalent in engineering; prior supervisory/team leader experience; fluent Italian and very good English; proficiency in Excel, Word and Notes; willingness to lead technicians across North East Italy.
