Role summary: As an Assistant Bar Manager, you will help ensure outstanding bar service and flawless execution. The role focuses on creating memorable experiences for guests while collaborating with internal and external partners. This position supports leadership in daily bar management and contributes to the overall hospitality standards of the property.
Key responsibilities
- Assist in managing day-to-day bar operations, including supervision of bar staff and ensuring compliance with company policies and responsible alcohol service.
- Deliver excellent customer service by engaging with guests, handling inquiries and resolving concerns promptly to ensure a positive guest experience.
- Implement and maintain quality control for beverage preparation, presentation and service to guarantee consistent standards.
- Support budgeting and financial oversight by monitoring sales and helping to control costs.
- Address and resolve operational issues and guest complaints quickly and professionally.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry.
- Strong planning and organizational skills with keen attention to detail and high operational standards.
- Professional appearance, polished manner and excellent interpersonal skills suitable for a fast-paced team environment.
- Fluent in English (spoken and written); additional languages are an advantage. The role also lists Italian among required languages.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays, according to departmental needs.
