WHO WE ARE

Founded in 2007, Experimental has transformed hospitality and F&B by creating distinctive, contemporary venues for an international clientele, including cocktail bars, wine bars, restaurants and boutique hotels across Europe and beyond.

PALAZZO EXPERIMENTAL

Palazzo Experimental features 32 rooms and suites designed by Dorothée Meilichzon and a large inner garden overlooking a peaceful canal. The property has three canal-facing entrances giving access to the restaurant L’Adriatica, the reception and the Experimental Cocktail Club.

THE ROLE

Working hours: 40 hours per week with two days off. Accommodation is not provided.

As Chef de Rang you will be responsible for delivering precise, welcoming service and ensuring a memorable experience for guests. Main duties include:

  • Preparing the dining room, garden and terrace before service;
  • Providing attentive, friendly service to guarantee a positive guest experience;
  • Advising guests with an excellent knowledge of the menu and products;
  • Executing service to standards: taking orders, laying and clearing tables, and resetting;
  • Managing your section: replenishing bread and drinks, keeping tables tidy and clean;
  • Completing end-of-service tasks: cleaning and preparing the area for the next service;
  • Maintaining all areas in perfect condition in terms of cleanliness, upkeep and functionality;
  • Following the aesthetic standards set by management (grooming, mise en place, etc.).

WHO YOU ARE

We seek a candidate with solid restaurant service experience and a background in hospitality. A good command of English is required; additional languages are an advantage. The ideal person is proactive, autonomous, adaptable, highly organised and able to manage priorities while delivering excellent customer service.

Requisiti

Solid experience in restaurant service; good command of English; proactive, organised, autonomous and customer-focused. Additional languages are a plus.
