At Bending Spoons we aim to build an exceptional company by acquiring digital businesses with untapped potential and rapidly growing them using our platform of technology, data, brand and talent. We operate with minimal hierarchy, small high-talent teams, and a strong emphasis on integrating AI into daily work so that human judgment and machine intelligence complement one another.
You'll join small, entrepreneurial teams and have a steep growth trajectory; high performers take on major responsibilities quickly. Compensation is competitive and location-dependent. Typically, early-career hires receive £47,660 in London or €46,027 elsewhere in Europe. Candidates with significant experience are commonly offered between £56,345 and £85,797 in London, or €54,346 and €82,557 elsewhere in Europe. Permanent contracts may include the option to receive part of pay as company equity at a discount. Relocation to Italy may benefit from a 50% tax cut.
We also provide flexible hours, remote working options (from approved countries), generous learning and training support, top-tier health insurance, an extensive relocation package, parental support and an annual company retreat.
We evaluate candidates through a standardized screening that emphasizes verifiable signals of excellence. If you pass screening you may be asked to complete one or more challenging tests that can take several hours. We set a high bar and will not extend offers until we are confident of the fit. We consider all applicants equally and provide reasonable accommodations—please request them via the company accommodation form.
If you applied previously without success, we recommend waiting at least one year before reapplying. Bending Spoons is a demanding environment with high expectations; while that fuels rapid learning and career growth, it also requires strong commitment. To help you onboard effectively, we expect you to spend most days in our Milan office during your first months, regardless of your long-term location; the company supports this with travel and accommodation assistance. After onboarding, you may work from another office or remotely from approved countries, subject to what is agreed at offer stage.
