Borgo Pignano is an elegant boutique Relais & Châteaux property set within a 5-hectare park in the Tuscan hills, a short distance from the city. The estate includes 32 rooms and suites, a private villa, a spa, a heated pool, two restaurants, two bars and event spaces, offering a refined and tranquil guest experience.
The Bartender will deliver outstanding beverage and food service, ensuring a professional and welcoming atmosphere that aligns with Borgo Pignano standards. The role requires maintaining cleanliness, supporting daily bar operations and contributing to guest satisfaction through prompt, courteous service and product knowledge.
Key duties and responsibilities
- Serve guests following the hotel's standards for food and beverage quality and presentation.
- Comply with the Beverage Department's Standard Operating Procedures and suggest potential improvements.
- Prepare the bar at the start of service, ensuring supplies, liquors, ice, glassware, juices and garnishes are ready.
- Take and process drink orders efficiently, ensuring accuracy of drinks served and billing.
- Prepare all cocktails according to the hotel's beverage manual using correct measurements.
- Receive and check liquor deliveries and stock against previous shift requisitions, reporting any discrepancies to the Bar Supervisor.
- Maintain security of the work area, ensuring the bar is never left unattended unless properly relieved.
- Help with cleaning duties and removal of melting ice.
- Ensure adherence to Borgo Pignano service standards at all times.
- Maintain clear communication with colleagues and supervisors regarding guest preferences and special requests.
- Observe hygiene, health and safety regulations to keep the working environment safe and clean.
- Attend team briefings and training to improve knowledge and service quality.
- Carry out any additional duties assigned by the Bar Supervisor or F&B Management.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar role within luxury hospitality or high-end dining.
- Strong knowledge of beverage service, cocktails and wines.
- AIBES, IBA or similar certification is a plus.
- Fluent English; additional languages are an advantage.
Offer
- Start date: June 2026.
- Contract: 7-month fixed-term contract (grade as per the National Collective Labor Agreement for the Tourism Sector).
- Working hours: 40 hours per week over 5 days with two rotating days off.

Requisiti
At least 2 years' experience in a similar role in luxury hospitality or fine dining; solid beverage, cocktail and wine knowledge; AIBES/IBA or equivalent is a plus; fluent in English; additional languages advantageous.
