We are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Bar Crew member to join our Food & Beverage team. In this role you will ensure the bar operates smoothly and strive to delight guests at every opportunity, contributing to Generator’s energetic hospitality experience.

About Generator Rome

Generator Rome is just a short walk from the Colosseum and Roma Termini. The property blends Roman heritage with contemporary design across seven floors and 75 carefully styled rooms, and includes a bar and chill-out lounge.

Key responsibilities

• Make sure guests’ needs are met and, where possible, exceeded at each interaction
• Create a positive and memorable impression for customers, reinforcing the Generator experience
• Keep the bar clean, tidy and ready for service at all times
• Ensure the bar is fully stocked (glasses, ice, garnishes, cocktail mixes) and ready to trade
• Maintain sufficient produce and goods to serve customers consistently
• During busy periods, keep all tables, floors and equipment to Generator cleanliness standards
• Monitor service quality and the standard of drinks and cocktails; escalate issues to the Bar Supervisor or F&B Manager when needed
• Perform cash reconciliation correctly so the till always balances, following cash handling procedures

These duties are indicative and other reasonable tasks may be required as part of the role.

Experience

• Experience in hospitality or service roles is preferred
• A passion for the city, travel and current food & drink trends
• Knowledge of contemporary local interests and culture
• Genuine enthusiasm for guest service
