We are looking for a Junior Purchasing Officer to join the team on a part-time basis (21 hours/week). The role supports purchasing operations and internal logistics, ensuring smooth processes for equipment, orders and supplier relations. You will collaborate with Purchasing, Finance, People and Facility teams to manage day-to-day operational activities essential to the company.
Support purchasing and supplier management, handling purchase requests and participating in supplier selection and qualification.
Manage order processes, monitor deadlines and purchasing conditions, and assist in negotiations with suppliers.
Support budget checks and purchasing workflow activities and keep supplier, contract and purchasing documentation up to date.
Organise welcome pack logistics for new hires and manage delivery, collection and replacement of company devices and equipment.
Support hardware inventory and asset management and maintain internal tracking files and equipment records.
Collaborate with Internal IT and Facility teams and provide general operational and administrative support related to purchasing and office logistics.
Studies in economics or related fields (degree appreciated but not mandatory).
Previous experience, even short, in administrative, purchasing or operational support activities.
Good organisational skills, attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
Strong communication and collaboration skills, proactive and hands-on attitude; confidence in interacting with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
Basic knowledge of purchasing and administrative processes and comfort working with tracking files and operational documentation.
Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel, and a good level of English.
Flexible working: full remote or hybrid in offices (Milan, Turin, Padua, Bologna, Catania, Rende).
