Position summary

We don’t only deliver food and drink—our aim is to create a memorable, distinctive experience for guests. As a Chef de Rang at the Zefiro Rooftop, you will take initiative to provide a broad range of services that ensure diners enjoy every part of their visit. You will support service flow in a lively, refined setting and help create moments that guests will remember.

Main responsibilities

• Prepare and set tables to the standards of the restaurant.
• Assist with food and beverage service, including taking and relaying orders to the kitchen.
• Interact professionally with guests and ensure their needs are met promptly and courteously.
• Maintain cleanliness and order in the dining and service areas, including supplies and workstations.
• Support smooth, efficient service operations and collaborate with colleagues to deliver consistent quality.

Working conditions and expectations

Team members are expected to create a safe workplace, follow company policies and procedures, and uphold quality and presentation standards. Maintain a professional uniform and appearance and ensure communications are appropriate. The role is physically active: you will be on your feet and moving for extended periods, operate on uneven or slippery surfaces, read and manage menu information visually, and perform hands-on tasks such as lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling and reaching (including bending and stooping).

Preferred qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• Experience: Approximately 1 year of related work experience.
• Supervisory experience: None required.
• License / certification: None required.

High school diploma or G.E.D.; ~1 year related work experience; no supervisory experience; language: Italian.
