About Experimental

Experimental was founded by childhood friends Olivier Bon, Pierre-Charles Cros and Romée de Goriainoff (joined by Xavier Padovani in 2010) and has reshaped hospitality by offering contemporary, design-led experiences to a discerning international clientele.

Known for bringing cocktail bar culture to Paris, the group now operates cocktail bars, wine bars, restaurants and boutique hotels in cities such as Paris, London, Venice, New York and seasonal destinations like Ibiza, Menorca and ski resorts including Verbier and Val d’Isère.

Il Palazzo Experimental

Il Palazzo Experimental is a hotel in Venice featuring 32 rooms and suites designed by Dorothée Meilichzon and a large interior garden overlooking a tranquil canal. The property has three entrances from the Canal Della Giudecca leading respectively to the restaurant L’Adriatica, the reception and the Experimental Cocktail Club, the group’s signature bar.

The role — Junior Bartender

We are looking for a Junior Bartender to join the team at Il Palazzo Experimental in Venice. Working under the Bar Manager, your main duties will be:

• Welcoming guests and presenting the cocktail menu

• Preparing cocktails following established recipes and house standards

• Supporting the bar team during service to ensure a high-quality guest experience

• Complying with hygiene and safety regulations

• Managing opening setup of the station and/or lounge and performing closing duties (cleaning and restocking)

• Ensuring the bar and equipment are well maintained

Who you are

We seek someone passionate about hospitality and mixology: enthusiastic, dynamic and keen to learn in a creative, professional environment.

Ideal profile includes:

• Some prior experience behind a bar or in a similar role (internship or seasonal experience welcome)

• Good command of English (Italian or other languages are a plus)

• Proactive, adaptable, well organised

• Strong customer service orientation and attention to detail

Requisiti

Some previous experience behind the bar or equivalent (internship/seasonal experience accepted). Good command of English; Italian or other languages a plus. Proactive, adaptable, well organised and customer-focused.
