We are looking for a passionate Bar Crew member to join our Food & Beverage team and help deliver outstanding guest experiences. In this role you will ensure the bar runs smoothly, consistently impress customers and uphold Generator’s service standards.

About Generator Venice

Generator Venice occupies a waterfront position on Giudecca island, a short vaporetto hop from Piazza San Marco. Housed in a converted warehouse, the property blends historic character with contemporary design, featuring mosaic floors, a glass chandelier and a striking stone fireplace. Public areas are arranged around the bar and café, and most rooms offer views of gardens, Lido, the Grand Canal or San Marco.

Nuts and bolts of the job

• Make sure every guest’s needs are met and ideally exceeded during each interaction.
• Create positive, memorable impressions that encourage guests to remember Generator.
• Keep the bar consistently clean, tidy and ready for service.
• Maintain full stock for service: glasses, ice, garnishes, cocktail mixes and other bar essentials.
• Ensure sufficient supplies and products are available for customers at all times.
• During busy periods, maintain Generator cleanliness standards for tables, floors and equipment.
• Monitor service quality and drink/cocktail standards, escalating issues to the Bar Supervisor or F&B Manager when needed.
• Carry out cash reconciliation procedures accurately so the till float balances in line with cash-handling rules.

• Previous experience in hospitality or service industry roles.

Requisiti

Eligible to work in the EU; fluent English (application to be submitted in English). Experience in hospitality/service industry preferred.
