Summary of the role
The role goes beyond simply providing a clean room and a freshly made bed. As a Guest Environment Expert, you will perform a variety of housekeeping duties to keep the hotel’s appearance and cleanliness at excellent standards and contribute to a memorable guest experience.
Main responsibilities include:
- Responding to guest requests and delivering requested items.
- Stocking and preparing housekeeping carts.
- Cleaning guest rooms and public areas to uphold quality standards.
- Carrying out other reasonable duties as assigned to support the team and guest satisfaction.
Work expectations and standards
You must ensure a safe workplace, follow company policies and procedures, maintain confidentiality and present a professional uniform and appearance. You will be active on your feet for extended periods and take a hands-on approach to the tasks.
Physical requirements: ability to stand, sit or walk for long periods and to move, lift, carry, push, pull and place objects weighing up to 50 pounds (≈23 kg) without assistance.
