Position summary

This role is responsible for ensuring that all stewarding procedures meet the hotel’s standards and for supporting the kitchen and food service teams to deliver excellent service to guests and visitors.

Main responsibilities

  1. Keep the workplace clean, organized and efficient.
  2. Arrange and maintain storage areas.
  3. Receive and stock daily food deliveries under supervision.
  4. Wash tableware and kitchen equipment.
  5. Clean and maintain the employee canteen and prepare its mise en place.
  6. Clean kitchen areas and manage kitchen waste.
  7. Provide lateral service across the Stewarding department, the Kitchen and other hotel areas when required.

Essential skills and behaviours

  • Ability to apply and enforce hotel standards, policies and procedures.
  • Capacity to concentrate and manage several tasks at once (multitasking).
  • Willingness to work under supervision and to be flexible as duties change.
  • Focus on details and maintain a tidy work environment.
  • Work collaboratively as part of a team and act as an ambassador of Bulgari Hotels & Resorts at all times, on and off duty.

Qualifications

  • Basic knowledge of HACCP procedures.
  • Ability to maintain a high standard of cleanliness in kitchen and storage areas.
  • Previous restaurant experience is desirable.
  • Good team-working skills.
