Role purpose: Be the welcoming presence at The Social Hub Bologna, turning the building into a vibrant local destination for events, talks, film nights, exhibitions and parties. As a Connector Intern you bring people together, create experiences and help give the space meaning for guests and residents.

About us: The Social Hub is a playful, creative and inspiring hybrid-hospitality concept that mixes student accommodation, short and long stays, gyms, event programming, rooftop bars, food & drink spaces, coworking and community life. Founded in Europe, we operate in several countries and continue to expand globally.

Responsibilities

  • Connect semester residents, co‑workers, hotel and extended‑stay guests into a single active community.
  • Support the planning and delivery of the ongoing local events programme.
  • Act as the local point of contact for events and community activations, working closely with the Connector role.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with partners to populate the annual events calendar with relevant recurring activities.
  • Regularly engage with and host local student ambassadors.
  • Create, gather and deliver digital content (text, video, images) following marketing briefs.
  • Manage local TSH social media channels, ensuring content fits the brand guidelines.
  • Attend and actively participate in local networking events.

Candidate profile

  • You are currently enrolled at a university (studying within the EU).
  • Outgoing and confident, comfortable speaking in front of an audience.
  • A natural connector who enjoys being around people and building networks.
  • Professional and able to work independently in a fast‑paced, sometimes chaotic environment.
  • Social, flexible, highly motivated and with a good sense of humour.
  • Creative and visionary with ideas to grow the connector strategy.
  • Communicative with an entrepreneurial mindset; calm under pressure and very organised.
  • Fluent in English and Italian; additional languages are a plus.

Requisiti

Currently enrolled in a university (studying within the EU); fluent in English and Italian; outgoing, organised and able to work independently in a fast‑paced hospitality environment.
