Position summary
Kitchen Support Experts provide essential assistance across several hotel food service areas, such as the kitchen, pastry, food & beverage outlets and employee dining. These team members help with cleaning tasks and basic food preparation to ensure operations run smoothly.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain clean linens and spotless dining ware for guests.
- Operate and care for cleaning equipment and tools (for example dishwashing machines and hand wash stations).
- Transport and handle dishware and related items throughout the hotel.
- Follow company safety and security policies and report maintenance needs, accidents, injuries or unsafe conditions to the manager.
- Complete required safety training and certifications.
- Maintain a clean, professional uniform and personal appearance and protect company assets and confidential information.
- Welcome and acknowledge guests according to company standards, and communicate clearly and professionally with colleagues and guests.
- Build and sustain positive working relationships with colleagues and support the team in reaching common goals.
- Adhere to quality expectations and departmental standards and perform other reasonable duties as requested by supervisors.
Physical requirements
Be able to stand, sit or walk for extended periods; reach overhead and below the knees; bend, twist, pull and stoop. Move, lift, carry, push, pull and place objects weighing up to 25 pounds (about 11 kg) without assistance.

- Education: No high school diploma or G.E.D. required.
- Related work experience: None required.
- Supervisory experience: None required.
- License or certification: None required.
