Position summary
Kitchen Support Experts assist multiple hotel areas—such as pastry, kitchen, food & beverage and employee dining—in performing cleaning duties and basic food preparation. They ensure linens and tableware are clean and ready for guest use, operate and maintain cleaning equipment (for example dishwashers and hand-wash stations) and transport dishware throughout the property.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare and provide fresh, clean linen and spotless dining ware for guests.
- Operate and maintain cleaning equipment and tools, including dishwashing machines and hand wash stations.
- Transport dishware and related items across the hotel as required.
- Follow all company safety and security procedures; report maintenance needs, incidents, injuries and unsafe conditions to management.
- Complete required safety training and certifications.
- Maintain a clean, professional uniform and personal appearance; protect company assets and confidentiality.
- Welcome and acknowledge guests according to company standards and communicate clearly and professionally with colleagues and guests.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve shared goals and uphold quality standards.
- Perform additional reasonable duties as requested by supervisors.
Physical requirements
Ability to stand, sit or walk for extended periods; reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling and stooping. Able to move, lift, carry, push, pull and place objects up to 25 pounds (≈11 kg) without assistance.

- Education: No high school diploma or G.E.D. required.

- License or certification: None required.
