Position summary: Kitchen Support staff assist multiple hotel food operations by performing cleaning and basic preparation tasks. These associates may rotate between kitchen, pastry, food & beverage outlets and the employee dining room to ensure smooth service delivery.

• Primary duties include: preparing clean linen and spotless dining ware for guests, operating and maintaining cleaning equipment such as dishwashers and hand wash stations, and moving dishware and other items throughout the hotel.
• Follow all company safety and security procedures, report maintenance needs, accidents, injuries and unsafe conditions to management, and complete required safety trainings and certifications.
• Maintain a clean and professional uniform and personal appearance, preserve confidentiality of proprietary information and help protect company assets.
• Welcome and acknowledge guests according to company standards and communicate clearly and professionally with others.
• Build and sustain positive working relationships with colleagues and support the team in achieving shared goals while ensuring adherence to quality expectations and standards.
• Physical requirements: be able to stand, sit or walk for extended periods; reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling and stooping; and move, lift, carry, push, pull and place objects weighing up to 25 pounds without assistance.
• Perform other reasonable duties as assigned by supervisors.

Preferred qualifications: Education: no high school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent required. Related work experience: none required. Supervisory experience: none. License or certification: none.
