Creactives Group SpA, software leader in AI applied to the supply chain that provides IT solutions to major multinationals worldwide, is seeking Software Engineers to design and develop high-quality, testable and scalable applications.
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing high-quality software and web applications.
- Analyzing and maintaining existing applications.
- Designing highly scalable and testable code.
- Identifying and fixing programming bugs.
Required technical qualifications and skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
- Development experience with Java and JavaScript.
- Experience with Angular for the user interface and Spring framework.
- Relational database skills, specifically Postgres and SQL.
- Message queuing systems such as RabbitMQ (or similar).
- Familiarity with cybersecurity standards for secure software (e.g. OWASP).
- Knowledge of JUnit for unit test automation.
- Experience with Agile methodologies, specifically Scrum.
- Experience with software versioning repositories, specifically Bitbucket.
- Knowledge of workflow engine tools (specifically Activiti), ETL tools and analytics tools.
- Attitude for team leadership and ability to manage external software engineers.
The company welcomes candidates at all experience levels, from neo-graduates with no prior work experience up to senior software engineers with up to 10 years of experience in the listed technologies.
Languages: Italian at C1 level or higher and English at minimum B2 level.
Work arrangement: Hybrid model: 2 days remote and 3 days in the office.
Location requirement: it is mandatory to have residence ("residenza" or "domicilio") in Verona.
Pre-requisites: Must have a work permit for Italy and a "permesso di soggiorno per lavoro".
