Your impact: we are hiring for the Market Intelligence team covering the Agrifood and Energy markets. Selected candidates will perform analysis of commodity markets for food use, prepare price forecasts and assist major companies in the food and agribusiness sectors to optimise procurement and manage risk.
Market analysis and price forecasting: analyse commodity markets and produce price outlooks to inform clients.
Forecasting model development: design, develop and refine quantitative models for price prediction.
Risk analysis and volatility management: assess market risk and support strategies to mitigate volatility.
Financial hedging strategy support: provide analytical input on hedging and risk management approaches.
Client relationship management (front office): interact with clients to deliver insights, support decision-making and maintain strong relationships.
Education: degree in Statistics, Econometrics, Economics or a related field.
Technical skills: familiarity with statistical software, database management and data visualisation tools; experience in forecasting and market analysis is a plus.
Languages: strong command of French (C1 or C2) and at least basic knowledge of Italian to facilitate team and internal communication.
Experience: previous experience of 1–3 years in forecasting, market analysis, or the agri-food sector is considered an asset.
Personal qualities: strong communication and teamwork skills, proactivity, a learning mindset and orientation to results.
Location and working model: the role is based at the Headquarters in Bologna. A hybrid work model is offered, with in-person presence required for at least two-thirds of the time.
