Experimental is known for pioneering cocktail bar culture since 2007 and for operating creative cocktail bars and boutique hotels across Europe and beyond. Experimental Roma, opening in mid-2026 on Via Ludovisi near Via Veneto, will occupy a former bank redesigned by Rodolphe Parente and will feature 82 rooms, a restaurant, a bar and a rooftop with a suspended pool overlooking Rome.

About the role

Reporting to the Front Office Manager, you will ensure guest reception and overall guest relations throughout the night shift and handle reservations and administrative duties linked to the night operation.

• Offer each guest a warm, personalised night-time welcome and maintain high standards of service in line with hotel procedures.

• Take overall responsibility for the hotel during the hours after the day management has left, ensuring guest and property safety.

• Support the Front Office in reaching qualitative objectives and promote hotel services to maximise sales.

• Set up the breakfast buffet and guarantee the reception area is clean and presentable.

• Manage efficient guest check-ins and check-outs, providing information on stay conditions, formalities and services.

• Handle phone calls, manage the reservations schedule and follow up on guest requests (wake-up calls, taxis, in-room breakfast, etc.).

• Deal professionally with guest comments, requests and any complaints, anticipating and responding to needs.

• Prepare activity reports and record any incidents occurring during the shift; ensure guest information documents are available and up to date.

• Apply and explain the hotel pricing policy, be responsible for the cash register and comply with payment and invoicing procedures.

• Check and verify daily reservations, including summaries of off-site bookings.

Candidate profile

You have at least two years' experience in a similar role. You are dynamic, proactive and highly service-oriented, with a professional appearance and strong reliability. You work well in a team, demonstrate rigour, excellent organisational skills and strong interpersonal and communication abilities.

Languages: fluent in Italian and English; knowledge of a third language is an advantage.

Technical skills: proficient with Microsoft Office and the Opera property management system; familiar with reservations and invoicing procedures and cash handling.

Requisiti

Minimum 2 years experience in a similar position; fluent in Italian and English; proficiency with Microsoft Office and Opera; strong presentation, organisation and interpersonal skills.
