Join the Silicon Engineering team to help design the next generations of Apple products. In this role you will focus on the validation and characterization of analog and mixed‑signal power management circuits used in battery‑powered portable devices, contributing to silicon that will appear in future products.
Working with guidance from experienced engineers, you will be embedded in the Silicon Team to develop high‑performance silicon. You will be responsible for ensuring delivery of high‑quality ASICs by planning, authoring and executing tests to verify functional health, measuring silicon performance and driving optimizations that enable reliable product use cases.
Responsibilities
- Develop automation (software, scripts and algorithms) for measurement data collection, post‑processing and analysis.
- Design at board level including schematic capture, definition of routing constraints and participation in layout reviews.
- Verify and validate ASIC firmware using FPGA emulation platforms.
Minimum Qualifications
- Coursework emphasizing analog circuit measurement.
- Knowledge of at least one programming language (Javascript, Python, C++ or similar).
- Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills; eagerness to collaborate with diverse teams.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Student experience in PCB/board design is a plus.
- Coursework or experience in data post‑processing is a plus.
